A library database is an electronic resource of some sort. Some index thousands of journal articles in a specific subject, and provide the full text of the articles right there on the database. Some provide access to statistical information. Some offer access to media as well as print information on a subject. Some are filled with e-books. In brief, these are collections of research materials that are reliable, authoritative, and electronically available. If you don’t know which ones to use for your assignment, pick a Library Guide for your course. Databases will be suggested in several places. The Finding Articles tab should offer a list of the best for your class.
