IMG_2397

The month of March celebrates the achievements and contributions of women throughout history. This year’s theme, chosen by The National Women’s History Project, is “Women Inspiring Innovation Through Imagination: Celebrating Women in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics.”

Waterfield Library has displayed books and movies by and about influential women in history. The works include A League Of Their Own, Amelia Earhart, Iron Jawed Angels, The Madame Curie Complex, Has Feminism Changed Science?, Strong Minded Women, and much more! What are your favorite works about strong women in history? Make sure to comment below! We’d love to know what you’d like to see at University Libraries!
