Faculty asked to participate in survey on open access scholarship

The university librarians are studying the attitudes and awareness of Murray State University faculty members toward the open access movement when it comes to scholarly research. Their goal is to develop educational programs to help inform faculty about this trend and how it affects tenure and promotion, library budgeting, university branding, etc. We hope that you would be willing to participate in an anonymous survey that should take approximately 15 minutes to complete.

While we cannot offer you any compensation for your time, we very much appreciate your willingness to participate.

By clicking through to the survey, you will be indicating that you voluntarily consent to participate in this study.

This study has been reviewed and approved by the Murray State University Institutional Review Board (IRB) for the protection of human subjects. Any questions about the conduct of this project should be brought to either Elizabeth Price’s attention or that of the IRB Coordinator. The IRB Coordinator can be reached at (270) 809-2916 or 328 Wells Hall, Murray, KY 42071.
